A second chance for Youssef

  • Language: obligation and advice (workers must / have to / should wear…, employers ought to provide…), prohibition (don't…), warning (Mind the…!), linkers (because, so, therefore, moreover).
  • Model: Safety First! Every year, many workers are hurt at work because they do not protect themselves. Safety items can save lives. A helmet protects the head from falling objects, and gloves keep hands safe from cuts and burns. On building sites, workers must wear safety boots and reflective vests so that drivers can see them. Masks and goggles are also necessary when there is dust or dangerous fumes. Employers ought to provide this equipment and train workers to use it. Remember: a few seconds to put on your helmet can prevent a terrible accident!
